Experiencing GOD Adult Class

This class is led by Pam LeCren, Tom Dudley, Russ Snyder and Trini Anthony assist in leading the class, which meets in Room 201, next to the Parlor.

C.S. Lewis (1898-1963) has been called an intellectual giant. He once called himself an atheist. And yet he became one of the most influential Christian writers of all time. His radio broadcasts in Britain during WWII on Christian Faith were collected into a book titled “Mere Christianity”. It was Lewis’ intent to set out for nonbelievers just what it is to be Christian and to explain and defend the beliefs that are common to all Christians regardless of the denomination to which they may belong in hopes of influencing those who don’t believe in God as well as influencing those who regard the particular beliefs of their denomination as separating them from other Christians. His broadcasts and the resulting book are a powerful, yet rational, argument on why Christians believe as they do and why non-believers should believe. Come and join us as we read and discuss this amazing book and this amazing individual.

The class is designed for adults, young adults, and high school students. Come and participate with us as we seek to discover, together, God’s plans for us as we live in community with all people.
