In 2008, Liberty Grove combined two previous separate family fellowship groups (FROGS and Guppies) into one group to build a stronger and congregation-wide group as they both had a similar mission. The fellowship group is for any individuals, families or couples who just want to have some fun, make new friends, and share a great dinner. The gatherings generally take place the second Saturday of each month in the church's Fellowship Hall with arranged child care. The annual Holiday Party and the annual Progressive Dinner are adult-only events and held in private homes.

Our traditional gatherings generally begin at 6:00 P.M. with a potluck dinner, where each family is asked to bring a dish or two with drinks provided. Everyone eats together then the children depart for age-appropriate programs with appropriate supervision and the adults enjoy a discussion/workshop or themed-program. A favorite is game-night where laughter and entertainment are never in short supply. A small child-care donation is appreciated but not required.

This family fellowship group is a wonderful opportunity to meet other church members, make new friends, expand your 'family' to the Kingdom of God at Liberty Grove. Some of us are young, some of us are 'older', some of us are single, some of us are parents but all of us enjoy the fun and fellowship these few hours provide on a Saturday night.
